What’s the difference between a Classic T-Shirt and a conventional T-shirt?
Our shirts are super soft, designed to flatter, and far more durable than traditional T-shirts. We think of our T-shirts as a fashion statement—not just a basic.
Why are your T-shirts so expensive?
Our shirts are made of the finest 100% organic cotton, produced by fair trade labor, fashionably designed, and ultra durable. A Classic T-Shirt will last you far longer than your average $9.99 shirt, reducing your cost per wear. Learn more about why you should choose a luxury T-shirt here.
How do I know I’m getting a quality product?
Our shirts are handcrafted and embroidered, and a healthy dose of quality control goes into each product. We’re so certain that you’ll love your T-shirt that we offer risk-free returns at no cost to you.
Do you have any sales going on right now?

Fit, Material, & Care
What are your shirts made out of?
Each one of our T-shirts is made from combed, ring-spun, 40 single, 137 GSM, 100% organic, garment-dyed cotton. We know that’s a mouthful, so let’s break it down: our cotton is grown in a sustainable way, strong and durable, and treated to be super soft and long-lasting. The weight of the thread creates a lightweight, breathable feel.
Does lightweight fabric really make a difference?
We certainly think so. If you’ve ever tried on a cheap, starchy, stiff T-shirt, you’ll know how important breathable and lightweight fabric is. Please note that due to the lightweight nature of the fabric, white and lighter-colored T-shirts are somewhat more sheer than a traditional T-shirt.
How do you dye your shirts?
We use garment dye that’s free from harsh chemicals. Our white shirts are dyed ultra white to prevent yellow underarm stains.
Are you shirts pre-shrunk?
Yes! Each of our shirts is pre-washed and pre-shrunk so you’ll never have to worry about surprises on laundry day. Your shirt will retain its size and fit wash after wash.
How should I wash my Classic T-Shirt?
To keep your shirt looking its best, we recommend machine washing cold with compatible colors and tumble drying low. Please, don’t bleach! Our whites are dyed ultra white so you shouldn’t have to.
What size should I order?
Order a smaller size for a stylish fitted look or a larger size for a looser, more casual fit. If you’re between sizes, we recommend ordering up.
What if the shirt I order doesn’t fit?
We want your Classic T-Shirt to be your new favorite T-shirt. If the shirt you receive doesn’t fit, we offer 100% risk-free returns and exchanges with free return shipping. Learn more here.
Why boyfriend cut for women?
We wanted to mimic the stylish look of a men’s T-shirt, but for women. A boyfriend cut features dropped shoulders, slightly lengthened sleeves and a clean neckline that conveys a laid-back tomboy look and attitude.
Why semi-fitted for men?
It’s simple, classic, and stylish. Our men’s shirts feature refinements like blind stitching, slightly longer sleeves, slightly shorter length, and a clean neckline

Is TCTC a fair trade company?
Yes. Our shirts are produced in a state-of-the-art partner facility in Los Angeles where employees are guaranteed fair wages, hours, and conditions. Why is organic cotton important?
Organic cotton is free from harsh pesticides and GMOs, is not grown in a way that destroys the soil, and uses 70% less water than conventional cotton. Less than 1% of the world’s cotton is organic. Learn more about why organic cotton matters here.
What does GOTS-certified mean?
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. The standards are very high and we constantly ensure that we meet and exceed these standards.
What is your packaging made from?
Recycled and plastic-free material, and we’re proud of that.
What is TCTC’s mission?
The Classic T-Shirt Company was founded by two parents, Paul and Olga Garibian, to prove to our daughter Gabriella that you can both be successful and do the right thing. We’re creating a community that values premium quality and has a responsible mindset about their impact on the world.
How are you helping the world?
We pledge 1%, which means we give 1% of our time, profits, and equity to causes we believe in. A portion of the proceeds from every T-shirt goes to safe water, tree planting, or ocean cleanup. Learn more here.
Ordering, Shipping, & Returns
How do I speak to a real person?
You can hit us up at email@example.com anytime, anywhere. You can also use the chat bar in the bottom of the site. Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm EST. Outside of those hours just leave a message in the chat box or email us your phone number and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Continental US orders: in-stock orders are processed within 3-5 business days
Orders outside the US*: in-stock orders are processed within 5-10 business days
(*Orders outside of the US may be subject to additional transit time and customs clearance delays.)
What shipping method does TCTC use? How much does it cost?
We send orders with either FedEx/DHL/UPS. All packages have a tracking number so the package can be traced.
We offer free shipping on all orders within the continental U.S.
Does TCTC ship internationally?
Yes! Orders outside of the continental US that are over $150 ship free. Any order under $150 will be subject to a USD $25 Flat Rate. International orders are shipped DDU “Delivered Duties Unpaid” and international customers will be responsible for the payment of any additional associated duties and taxes.
My order was marked as "delivered" but I have not received it. What do I do?
If your order has been marked “delivered” but you have not received the shipment, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll be happy to look into the issue for you.
How can I track my order?
When your order ships out you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a link to track the progress of the shipment. If you have any additional questions about the status of your order, you can feel free to contact us via email at email@example.com.
My tracking has stopped updating. What do I do?
If you are having an issue with the tracking for your order, please contact our customer support team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to look into the issue for you.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Have no fear of getting the wrong size or wasting money on a T-shirt that doesn’t fit. Our goal is to welcome you to a loyal community of lifelong Classic T-Shirt enthusiasts, and we don’t rest until our customers are 100% happy. Learn more about our risk-free returns here.
We accept T-shirts returns within 100 days of your order receipt. All refunds will be applied to the original payment method. If you don't love our T-shirts, please let us know.
To return an item for a refund or exchange, please email us with your order number. Within 24 hours, we’ll send a return label and confirm your return or exchange.
How do I exchange an item?
Please contact TCTC’s customer service team at email@example.com to arrange exchanges for qualifying merchandise.
When will I be refunded or receive my exchange once I return an item?
Refunds will be processed once your return has been received at our warehouse—this can take up to one week. If you are returning for a refund, you will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued. If you are returning for an exchange, we will send the requested item out to you.
My order is a gift. How do you make it special?
If your order is a gift and you would like to add a note to it before it ships out, please contact our customer support team at firstname.lastname@example.org before placing the order to arrange for the note to be added. We do not offer gift wrapping at this time.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and also provide several additional payment options at checkout including PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
I received an incorrect or damaged item. What do I do?
First, please accept our apologies! Then, contact our customer support team at email@example.com and we will be happy to resolve the issue for you right away.
I received an incomplete order. What do I do?
If you received an incomplete order, we truly apologize! Please contact our customer support team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to resolve the issue for you right away.
How do I cancel or edit my order?
Once an order has been placed, it is unlikely that we’ll be able to cancel or edit it before it ships. Please contact our customer support team at email@example.com and we will do our best to meet your request.
The product I want is currently out of stock. What do I do?
If the item that you would like to purchase is currently out of stock, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll notify you as soon as it becomes available.
I forgot to apply the first purchase discount code on my order. What do I do?
If you forgot to apply our first purchase discount code to a qualifying order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible at email@example.com and we can apply it to your order retroactively.
